Service Description
A modern organization creates a lot of raw data. The challenge is to sort, organize and to present this raw data into information relevant for follow up, prognosis and decision making.
There are solutions in the market today for solving this issue, but there is a lot of know-how that goes into collecting the correct type of data and integrating different solutions. If the technical layer is setup in the wrong way, there might be performance issues or even errors in the data collection, which can affect the reliability of the service.
At Addovation, we combine our long knowledge and experience around ERPs and analytics to offer this service. The service includes an analytics and reporting platform, preconfigured for IFS ERP. It seamlessly integrates with your existing IFS infrastructure and is built on Microsoft Fabric. Using Microsoft Power BI, the service provides immediate access to critical business insights through Addovation prebuilt reports, KPIs, and data visualization.

Included in the service
Service scope and responsibilities
The service contains activities and a scope that is suitable for most customers. The solution from Addovation consists of three main components:
a) The analytic platform based on Microsoft Fabric, configured to support analysis areas, such as Finance, included data loading from source systems
b) Prebuilt data load interface supporting IFS Application 10 and IFS Cloud
c) Prebuilt Finance reports to support a quickstart for customers basic needs. You are free to use them as they are or use them as a base for further development.
The Service which Addovation is offering and supporting during the life cycle is a+b, that is the analytic platform and interface to IFS.
Prebuilt reports (c) is an addon to the service offered to the customer to get started. The reports are free to use and Customer are free to further develop these reports.

Service Level Agreement
Customer have the right to report incidents and outage as well as service requests.
Addovation will evaluate the categorized Severity Level, in cooperation with the Customer, and change the Severity level if needed.
Response Time is measured between the time a user reports an Incident and the time Addovation have initiated analysis and/or error correction to that Incident.

Office hours are weekdays, Monday to Friday, between 08:00-17:00 CET/CEST, excluding national holidays.
Any work that is outside of the suppliers responsibility for this service is based on Time & Material.
Add-ons to the service
To support a short time to market and make it easy for customers to “get started” Addovation is offering a number of reports for each analysis area. The purpose of these reports is to be generic and suit most customer needs on a basic level. The customer have flexibility to use these reports and to customize them or build new ones. The reports are based on Power BI but the Service supports other end-user BI tools as well. The following reports are available:
- Finance
Income Statement (P&L) summarizes a company’s revenues, expenses, and profits over a period of time, showing how well it generates profit from its operations. It highlights net income by subtracting total expenses from total revenues.
General Ledger is the main record of a company’s financial transactions, organized by accounts such as assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses. It tracks all debits and credits, ensuring the accounting equation stays balanced and serves as the basis for preparing financial statements.
Balance Sheet is a financial statement that shows a company’s assets, liabilities, and equity at a specific point in time, following the formula: Assets = Liabilities + Equity. It provides a snapshot of the company's financial health.
Customers responsibility
During establishment of the service
- Depending on hosting scenario for Customers IFS, one component for this service must be installed in the same environment as the ERP-environment. The setup and configuration of this component might require any 3rd-party (if using other outsourcing partner) or internal technical resources at customer (for self hosting)
During delivery of the service
- Depending on hosting scenario for Customers IFS, one component is placed within the current ERP-environment. Monitoring and troubleshooting of this component might include assistance from Customers internal resources, or 3rd-party outsourcing partner.
- Any other additional tool or service for visualization of data

Service requirements
The following dependencies and requirements must be fulfilled for full functionality of the service:
