Service Description
Collaboration governance is how you manage users' access to resources, compliance with your business standards, and ensure the security of your data.
At Addovation, we empower our employees to collaborate both internally and externally – across a lot of different tools and services. The productivity is thriving, but we also seen some issues along the way.
Addovation has been growing as a company and understands these challenges – as we’ve come across and solved these issues.
This offering is based on our own experience on building a foundation for a healthy and compliant collaboration – both with internal and external stakeholders.
Challenges we help you overcome
Format
- Lots of tools spread over different vendors and services.
- The information is no longer limited in format like an individual document or spread sheet – information is stored as whiteboards, action lists, projects etc. This creates an eco-system which inspires creativity – but can create headaches finding, archiving and even removing the information.
Sharing
- Information is easy to share. Gone are the limitations of shared folders on G:, USB-drives and so on – sharing today is done within the tools and services being used. The challenge is to keep track on what is being shared, and to whom.
Lifecycle
- Some share information under a certain project, but afterwards, the sharing should be removed and the information archived or deleted.
Users preferred tool
- User tend to use the tools they are familiar with, or those that inspire creativity and fulfils requirements.
- We’ve seen internally that even though a certain product or tool is the defined one (eg IFS Document Management), users tend to slide to other, more user friendly alternatives.
